بتاريخ 12 نوفمبر 2010 حلّت جمعية المشعل لأبناء المفقودين في جيجل بالجزائر في ضيافة عائلة من عائلات المختطفين ضحايا أجهزة الأمن الجزائرية سنوات التسعينات وكانت هذه المرة ببلدية القنار بجيجل، حيث تفيد زوجة المفقود مختار لعرج بتفاصيل عن حيثيات اختفاء الضحية و تداعيات هذه الجريمة التي بقيت بدون حقيقة و بدون عدالة. مختار لعرج من مواليد 1 جويلية 1948، متزوج وأب لعشرة أولاد وكان يمتهن أشغال حرة لحسابه الخاص، تعرض للإعتقال من منزله العائلي بتاريخ 21 أوت 1996 على الساعة منتصف الليل و النصف، على يد قوة مكونة من عناصر الجيش الوطني الشعبي وأفراد من مليشيات الدفاع الذاتي، و كان آخر مكان شوهد فيه المُختطف في نفس يوم اختطافه هو مقر القطاع العسكري العملياتي بجيجل، ومنذ ذلك الحين لم يظهر له أي أثر. شهادة أليمة تضاف لسجل جرائم أجهزة الأمن الجزائرية ضد الشعب الجزائري خلال فترة التسعينات من القرن الماضي.
The case of the missing Moukhtar Laaredj, kidnapped since August 21, 1996 from the municipality of El Kenar in Jijel, Algeria
On November 12, 2010, the Mashal Association for the Children of the Disappeared in Jijel, Algeria, was hosted by a family of those kidnapped and victimized by the Algerian security apparatus during the 1990s. This time it was in the municipality of El Kenar in Jijel, where the wife of the missing Moukhtar Laaredj provided details about the circumstances of the victim’s disappearance and the repercussions of this crime, which remained without truth and without justice. Moukhtar Laaredj, born on July 1, 1948, was married and the father of ten children. He worked as a self-employed laborer. He was arrested from his family home on August 21, 1996, at midnight and a half, by a force composed of elements of the National Popular Army and members of the self-defense militias. The last place the kidnapped person was seen was on the same day of his abduction at the headquarters of the Operational Military Sector in Jijel. Since then, no trace of him has appeared. A painful testimony added to the record of crimes committed by the Algerian security apparatus against the Algerian people during the 1990s.
