بتاريخ 16 سبتمبر 2010 حلّت جمعية المشعل لأبناء المفقودين في جيجل بالجزائر في ضيافة عائلة من عائلات المختطفين وهذه المرة ببلدية الأمير عبد القادر في ضيافة عائلة بورفيس حيث تقدّم زوجة المفقود الطاهر بورفيس وهي أيضاً والدة إبنهما المفقود البشير بورفيس شهادة حية عن حيثيات وقوع قضيتي الإختفاء القسري التي عاشت على تداعيات حدوثها إلى غاية تسجيل الشهادة، علماً أنّ السيدة بورفيس قد توفيت بعد تسجيل الشهادة ببضعة سنوات ولم تعرف الحقيقة فيما جرى لزوجها وإبنها. وهذا ينطبق على عدد من الأولياء الذين سجلت الجمعية شهاداتهم، حيث عاشوا مرارة الفقد وحرقة غياب أي أخبار عن مفقوديهم ثمّ غادر كثير منهم الحياة بدون معرفة مصير ذويهم. وللتذكير، كان يعمل السيد طاهر بورفيس، وهو من مواليد 1936، وأب لـ 10 أطفل، مسؤولا في وزارة الشؤون الدينية ويتولى أيضا منصب معلم وإمام في مسجد الإصلاح في بلدية قيس، في ولاية جيجل. وكان يقيم في بلدية الأمير عبد القادر، الواقعة بنفس الولاية. وقد اعتقل في 23 آب/ أغسطس 1996 على الساعة الثانية صباحا، من قبل عناصر من الجيش، اقتحموا بيته عنوة، كما تجدر الإشارة أنه خلال نفس العملية التي قادها القائد صلاح المعروف باسمه المستعار “بلباح”، قائد منطقة العمليات في جيجل، ألقي القبض على وعشرين شخصا آخرين، نقلوا جميعهم على متن حافلة استولوا عليها من أحد مواطني القرية، نحو قطاع العمليات العسكرية في جيجل، إذ يوجد جميعهم في عداد المفقودين باستثناء شخصين أفرج عنهما بعد أربعة أشهر من ذلك.
في حين كان يعمل السيد بشير بورفيس، وهو من مواليد عام 1954 وأب لـ 7 أطفال، تاجرا. واستجابة لدعوة شفهية، توجه في 22 كانون الأول/ديسمبر، على الساعة الثانية ظهرا، إلى مقر لواء الدرك الوطني لبلدية الأمير عبد القادر بقيادة المساعد الأول غهام سعيد رفقة زوجته و ابنه، ومنذ ذلك الحين لم تطهر عنه أية أخبار. وسبق أن ألقي عليه القبض أول مرة مطلع آب / أغسطس في منزله على يد عناصر من الجيش، فتم نقله إلى مقر قيادة العمليات العسكرية بجيجل حيث اعتقل سرا وتعرض لتعذيب مهول لمدة شهرين كاملة. وإلى تاريخ اليوم، مازال كل من السيدين طاهر وبشير بورفيس في عداد المفقودين منذ 27 سنة، علما أن المسؤولين على اختفائهما معروفون بارتكابهم العديد من الجرائم ضد السكان المحليين، ومع ذلك لم يتم بحقهم أبدا أي متابعة او مقاضاة، ويزاول بعضهم حياتهم بشكل طبيعي دون أي مضايقة.
The Case of the Missing Taaher Bourfis Kidnapped Since August 23, 1996 and His Son Bashir Bourfis Kidnapped Since December 22, 1996 from the Al-Amir Abdelkader Area in Algeria
On September 16, 2010, the Mashal Association for the Children of the Missing in Jijel, Algeria, was hosted by a family of the kidnapped in the municipality of Al-Amir Abdelkader at the home of the Bourfis family. The wife of the missing Taaher Bourfis, who is also the mother of their missing son Bashir Bourfis, gave a living testimony about the circumstances of the two forced disappearance cases she lived through until the testimony was recorded. It should be noted that Mrs. Bourfis passed away a few years after recording the testimony without ever knowing the truth about what happened to her husband and son. This applies to a number of parents whose testimonies were recorded by the association, as they lived through the bitterness of loss and the anguish of having no news about their missing loved ones, and many of them passed away without ever finding out the fate of their relatives. As a reminder, Mr. Taaher Bourfis, born in 1936 and the father of 10 children, worked as an official at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and was also a teacher and imam at the Al-Islah Mosque in the town of Qais in the province of Jijel. He lived in the municipality of Al-Amir Abdelkader in the same province. He was arrested on August 23, 1996 at 2:00 am by army elements who forcibly broke into his home. It should be noted that during the same operation led by Commander Salah, known by his nickname “Belbah”, the commander of the operations zone in Jijel, twenty-one other people were also arrested. They were all taken on a bus they seized from a village resident to the military operations sector in Jijel, where they all remain missing except for two people who were released after four months. Meanwhile, Mr. Bashir Bourfis, born in 1954 and the father of 7 children, worked as a merchant. In response to a verbal summons, he went on December 22 at 2:00 pm to the headquarters of the National Gendarmerie Legion in the municipality of Al-Amir Abdelkader, led by First Assistant Gahham Saeed, accompanied by his wife and son. Since then, there has been no news of him. He had previously been arrested in early August at his home by army elements and taken to the military operations command headquarters in Jijel, where he was secretly detained and subjected to horrific torture for two full months. To this day, both Taaher and Bashir Bourfis remain among the missing for 27 years, knowing that the officials responsible for their disappearance are known to have committed numerous crimes against local residents, yet they have never been prosecuted or tried, and some of them continue to live their lives normally without any harassment.
