بتاريخ 13 مارس 2009 حلّت جمعية المشعل لأبناء المفقودين في جيجل لتواصل تسجيل شهادات عائلات المفقودين لتبقى شاهداً على الانتهاكات التي ارتكبتها أجهزة الأمن الجزائرية بحق الآلاف من أبناء الشعب الجزائري في سنوات التسعينات، هذه المناسبة في ضيافة عائلة من عائلات المختطفين هي عائلة المفقود سمير بوكحنون، حيث تروي لنا والدته تفاصيل هذه القضية التي ألمت بإبنها المفقود سمير بوكحنون المولود بتاريخ 2 فيفري 1972 أعزب وكان يشغل وظيفة تاجر ويقيم بمنطقة الكعدة ببلدية الجمعة بني حبيبي بجيجل، حيث تمّ اعتقاله بمتجره بنفس البلدية يوم الجمعة 29 أبريل 1994 من طرف عناصر وحدة التدخل السريع الكائن مقر ثكنتها بقرية بوحمدون ببلدية الأمير عبد القادر، ولم تظهر أي معلومات رسمية تؤكد مصيره إلى حد اليوم.
The Case of the Missing Samir Boukhennoun, Kidnapped Since April 29, 1994 from the Region of Jama’a Beni Habiba, Jijel, Algeria
On March 13, 2009, the Al-Mashaal Association for the Sons of the Missing visited Jijel to continue recording testimonies of families of the missing, to remain a witness to the violations committed by the Algerian security forces against thousands of Algerian citizens in the 1990s. This occasion at the home of one of the families of the kidnapped was the family of the missing Samir Boukhennoun. His mother narrated to us the details of this case that affected her missing son Samir Boukhennoun, born on February 2, 1972, single, working as a merchant and residing in the Kaada area of the municipality of Jama’a Beni Habiba in Jijel. He was arrested at his shop in the same municipality on Friday, April 29, 1994 by elements of the Rapid Intervention Unit whose barracks were located in the village of Bouhamadoun in the municipality of Amir Abdelkader. No official information has emerged confirming his fate to this day.
